The graduate student is expected to work independently and should provide demonstrated ability and background knowledge to carry out self-directed research or creative activity in the area to be studied. Arrangements regarding curricular obligations and meeting times must be contracted with the instructor in advance of enrollment. Prerequisite: completion of all 5000-level course work in the area of investigation.
