Ecology of insect-plant interaction, including host finding/utilization and plant response to insect feeding. Aspects of chemical/physiological ecology, landscape ecology, and management of insects using biologically-based techniques will be addressed. Examples from various terrestrial systems, including cultivated lands, grasslands, and forest systems, will be used. Dual listed with ENTO 4685. Prerequisite: one year of basic biology; course work in entomology and botany recommended.
